Ferrocarril de Mallorca Tunnel ~ 1996/8
Taken in 1998 - a closer view of the entrance to the tunnel connecting the FCM station at Palma to the seafront/harbour area where there used to be extensive goods traffic. It was amazingly dark inside the tunnel and discarded hypodermic syringes were littered around the entrance. Some light could be seen in the distance, probably from ventilation shafts.
