This picture has just come in from Robert Meaker in response to an advert in the Free Ads page of Mallorca Highway and, as you can see it shows the Palma FCM station in the days of steam. It is actually a postcard which can be a very good source of information - if anybody out there has anything more like this please send it to us. Nick Robey confirms John Glover's report that the track has reached Sa Pobla where there are considerable stocks of rail and points for the rest of the route to Alcudia but completion is not now expected to take place until February of next year. Here are a couple of John Glover's photos showing the new rails and the prepared trackbed at Sa Pobla.

I am working on Galleries of Pictures of the Soller Railway, the Soller Tramway and the disused parts of the FCM, which will appear as soon as the pages can be coded and the pictures prepared
